He wants change so did Stalin! It is amazing millions of Americans are voting for a guy whose views are invisible. Obama is the master of speaking for hours and saying nothing.

And for all his time in the Senate he hasn't accomplished a single thing. Just ask his groupie following to name his accomplishments as a Senator and they can't name a thing.

What has Hillary accomplished?
If record and accomplishments, and experience matters, then Richardson will still be competing.

But that's still more than Bush has done in his 8 years in the Presidency.
Obama refuse any an all interviews except with Opra. Now that is real courage, a man who can stand up to Islamic terrorists. He needs to stop hiding like a little baby and face some real questions. ___________________________________________________________________________ ________________________

his views are quite visible
to start if you are truly interested in his positions you should look at his policy overview
but he goes furthur giving many detailed position papers (links given in the document)
this is in stark contrast to the other candidates whose policy statements consist mostly of platitudes and fit on brief web page summaries
you can also learn from the candidates initiatives
well at least obama had a number of initiatives he helped develop during his term
the other candidates cosponsored other's initiatives but didn't seem to have any burning desire for their own
coburn-obama specifically looking to bring transparency to government by publishing transactions on the internet is a great example of obama's policy positions which tend to be very targeted and fiscally responsible
he seems to be drawing wide policy support both from the antiwar crowd who despise the human rights violations of our aggressions and the fiscal conservatives who see the war as a waste of government funds
besides his detailed and principled positions which tend to draw those who study policy he also has a natural charisma and great oration drawing in those looking for something more ephemeral
so far he has only gained in approval the more people learn of him and his positions
there does seem to be a few who have tried to plant this "he has no substance" virus around but it always ends up looking very comical since they can never really point to substance from any of the other candidates but there is plenty to show of obama's
i'm sure this has something to do with why he is winning

She's accomplished being a cunt and being responsible for the death of Vince Foster. Isn't that an accomplishment?

Kind of reminds you of "I have a plan" from the last election. What was his name?

Maybe to bomb Pakistan too. (worked for Bush!)
..And More! (for educational purposes):
"The Feb. 10 Chicago Sun-Times featured a first-ever interview with one of the FBI's key witnesses against Rezko. The informant, Chicago real estate broker John Thomas, a close associate of Rezko, maintained records of Rezko's dealings with Obama and Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, during 2004-05. According to the paper, "Sources said Thomas also logged frequent visits to Rezko from Gov. Blagojevich and U.S. Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.). Blagojevich and Obama were among the many politicians for whom Rezko raised campaign cash. Neither has been charged with any wrongdoing.... Sources said the government had him wear a hidden wire to record conversations with a Chicago alderman-- but that he did not record Blagojevich or Obama."
The Chicago Tribune weighed in with a Feb. 10 story by John Kass, which warned that top Illinois Republicans were also in bed with Rezko. On Obama, Kass was deadly: "There are a few who don't consider Obama to be inevitable. They'll be paying close attention to the upcoming federal political corruption trial in Chicago of Obama's personal real estate fairy, indicted political fixer Tony Rezko. You'll be hearing a lot more about `Operation Board Games,' but don't make the mistake of thinking that it's all about Democrats. It involves Republicans too. Rezko is a pal of the Democratic Gov. Rod `The Unreformer' Blagojevich. Rezko became involved in the questionable purchase of Obama's home, while under federal investigation. Every politician in Illinois--except for Obama--figured Rezko to be leprous with federal subpoenas. By dancing with Rezko, Obama impeaches his own judgment, and raises questions as to whether he has the presidential stuff. Rezko stands accused of using his Illinois political connections to extort kickbacks and political money from investment firms seeking billions of dollars worth of state business in the investing of state pension funds."
Another expose of the Obama-Rezko links appeared on Feb. 10 on the website firedoglake.com. It included the following report, originally published in the Sun-Times: "Obama is not named in the Dec. 21 court document. But a source familiar with the case confirmed that Obama is the unnamed `political candidate' referred to in a section of the document that accuses Rezko of orchestrating a scheme in which a firm hired to handle state teacher pension investments first had to pay $250,000 in `sham' finder's fees. From that money, $10,000 was donated to Obama's successful run for the Senate in the name of a Rezko business associate, according to the court filing and the sources.... Rezko, who was part of Obama's senatorial finance committee, also is accused of directing `at least one other individual' to donate money to Obama and then reimbursing that individual--in possible violation of federal election law."

People with that talent for talking a lot without saying anything substantive are in great demand at cocktail parties; that's no doubt where he became an expert at it - all those Washington "do's."

I agree. The guy is a total empty suit that spews some flowery rhetoric and buzzwords (namely "hope" and "change").

how come anytime someone responds with substance to you you return with empty sloganeering?
why is it that anyone who takes the time to introduce you to the already impressive responses obama has already given concerning his plans or lists his work as senator you cannot respond with anything of meaning?
is it because you have no substance? or the candidate(s) you support?

And then when he does say something he sometimes screws up:
"Mr. Obama opened his campaign for next week’s Wisconsin primary inside a General Motors plant in Janesville, one day after General Motors Corp. posted a $38 billion loss, the largest ever for a U.S. auto company. He criticized the North American Free Trade Agreement, which was signed during the Clinton administration, and offered a series of plans to inject more jobs into the economy.
“You know, in the years after her husband signed N.A.F.T.A, Senator Clinton would go around talking about how great it was and how many benefits it would bring,” Mr. Obama said. “Now that she’s running for president, she says we need a time-out on trade. No one knows when this time-out will end. Maybe after the election.”"

What is even more amazing is that, in 1984, millions of Americans disagreed with Reagan on many major issues, but they still voted for him. This year all the candidates, not just Obama, have jumped on the "change" bandwagon. In my opinion, during the past 40 years Jimmy Carter is the only person who attempted to implement real changes, and he was sabotaged at every step by the Congress, financiers, and the military-industrial complex.
