I've done this below, and throughout our debates, point by point, but you
haven't (as of yet) specifically addressed, or even acknowledged, ANY of
these points.
I've added "Point still unaddressed..." to some of the most salient points.
And it is a bit of hyperbole. So OK, I'm replying to myself. :-)

That's exactly correct.
Well, I guess we've debated this as far as we can. I only have to
go back forty to fifty years to see that we basically lived in a
society which was dominated by moderate to well educated white males
to the detriment of almost everyone else, and where the environment
was their personal trash dump, and where we were one misperception

This last war is still costing us dearly. I'm not sure how long it will
take for us to get out of this recession. In fact, this latest thing was
about as close to the Depression as you could get in recent times. Big
accomplishment there!

In retrospect, I would say a more accurate analysis would be that *some*
things are getting better, and *some* things are going worse. I guess I
can't say that we are generally getting "better" or "worse" with any degree
of certainty then, in retrospect, because the gains have come with some
significant losses.

This is an interesting perspective. For me, I would have assumed just the
opposite is more prevalent; i.e, that women tend to look at things more
globally (and have long memories :-).

I think it's possible that men tend to adhere more closely to a
sense of logic than do women. That's not to say that men are more
logical as though women have an inferior sense of logic. I think

That is good. For many of us teacher out there, we are held so
responsible for the little things, and lose sight of the forest b/c of
the trees. I'm glad she can see the forest. And in teachers' defense,
I'd say much of this is mandated at state or federal level. Many
