Camera Work: Middle School Musical-esque. I swear everythime a team lined up for a punt, the punter was never in the picture until after the snap. They would also jerk the camera around so much I thought I was watching the Blair Witch Project.

the biggest problem with the bigten network at this point is that the exclusive games they have absolutely suck. Is there anything decent on the schedule coming up?

You didn't get it last year?
The worst is the same commercials over and over and over and over. Most are those 'come to my school' commercials which makes me wonder if the Big Ten schools aren't subsidizing this thing in a back door sort of way (the school's advertising budget).
hey, mianderson <clay...@excite.com>'s been through solid matter, for crying out loud. Who knows what's happened to his brain? Maybe it's scrambled his molecules...

Nope. I have had it for nine days now.

Oh I am sure they are. It's making good money for the conference from what I understand.

Well, obviously ABC's 3:30 ET slot gets first dibs and then the ESPN networks get a game or two if they want them. So the Big Ten Network does carry the leftover games with less meaning (i.e. that ABC/ESPN doesn't want). When conference play starts, the Big Ten will carry the Minnesota-Indiana type matchups.
But as much as the games that BTN carries seem to be dogs, among the very first games that the network carried last season to debut the network was App. St. vs. Michigan. That "dog" of a matchup turned out the be my favorite game I watched all season.
The network is able to carry more meaningful basketball games than football.

Mason and whoever calls the games with him are brutal at times, when they decide to converse with each other rather than describe the play and provide analysis of said game.

Two of the better games were on the Big 11 Network, the Miami of Ohio game and the Ohio game.

Yes. Wait for another year where it generates more consistent cable network coverage and then gets consistent ratings, the advertising rates will be generated. The only team in a better condition than the Big 11 teams is Florida, who gets all the perqs of a conference, but has their own TV network.
